Kawasaki Heavy Industries award Pennant with manual and training order for its contract to supply EMU rolling stock in Taiwan.
Pennant Information Services has been selected by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Kawasaki) in Japan to produce a full suite of maintenance manuals and provide training support for its Xinyi/Songshan Line contract in Taiwan.
The contract is to provide Kawasaki's client engineers and maintenance staff with technical information to carry out maintenance tasks on the new train. It includes operating and maintenance manuals, training courseware and course delivery.
"We are delighted to be awarded this contract, after a successful relationship working together on the Taipei City EMU project" explains John Churchman, Pennant's Senior Business Development Manager. "The order is a further demonstration of our continued relationship with Kawasaki in the worldwide rail transportation market, where a number of projects have now been successfully completed"
