Pennant was presented with a golden opportunity to showcase its expertise in rail documentation and training at the recent Rail Safety and Standards Board's Simulation Seminar.

The seminar, which was targeted at drivers, investigated the use of driver simulators to improve driving standards and reduce the possibility of accident.

Despite the fact that driver training simulators with 180° views typical of those that drivers would see when travelling designated routes were on show, many delegates were enthusiastic about Pennant's applications which ranged from low budget solutions to high fidelity graphic animations.

Pennant's desk top solution seemed to provide the right blend of functionality and cost-effectiveness and attracted a great deal of attention from specifiers and decision makers in the driver training sector of the nation's rail industry.
