How can I maintain an audit trail for changes to data in key fields in OmegaPS?
A good start is the OmegaPS Comment System / Multi Media module. When a comment is raised against a field the data within the field at that time stays with the comment even if the data is then changed. Therefore Engineers can be instructed to always document in a Comment the reason for changing Data before they change it. If necessary we can force this activity against any fields defined by a customer. Please contact your regional sales representative for more information.
Can I get data from other sources e.g. Excel, Access, etc. into OmegaPS?
Yes, there are a number of solutions available to you. The safest and best is linking data into the OmegaPS Load tables and then running the 'Insert Data' command. We recommend this be done in a test environment first. For more details please contact your Customer Care representative.
How can I tell what version and what patch I am currently using?
From the main menu, select "About" in the "Help" menu. The "Release" field, at the lower right corner displays the release number (e.g. R12) and the patch number (e.g. P3).
I visited your web site and I have found the "Impact Analysis Module", and "RCM module" very interesting. Is it possible to test them for a week?
Yes, if you want to try one of them before buying it, give your sales representative a phone call for a temporary key code.
How do I assign PLISN to my project?
Run the standard LSAR report 152.
Does OmegaPS interface with other LSA tools?
Yes, depending on the tools. However we can assist Companies interface with both COTS software and in-house systems. Please contact your local Sales Representative.
I am a small organisation and do not want to buy a large OmegaPS LSAR for delivering data to my customer. Are there any alternatives?
Yes, we can provide data capture for you via the Internet using OmegaPSi. The costs are low and are time based. You only need to pay for what you use, though there is a minimum monthly contract. Please contact your local Sales Representative for more details.
How do we monitor and progress our LSAR on a major program?

I need to produce S1000D data modules for my project, is there an easy way to capitalise on all the data I have in OmegaPS LSAR?
Yes, we have OmegaPS Publisher which is an interactive data module production, management and if required expanded to a full publication solution.
