| 'We would like to thank the Pennant team for your efforts in getting the package delivered and working for the deadline date. I know that when we started many of the internal processes around roll out of Content Management were not finalised. This required a high degree of flexibility in the production of the training package to accommodate the changing requirements but overall I think that we now have a "fit for purpose" product that fully meets our immediate needs' |

British Telecom - Obtree Content Manager E-Learning
Pennant has established an on-going relationship with British Telecom for the provision of e-learning products. This project involved the design and production of emulation-based courseware to train users of BT's intranet page content management system (Obtree CM4). The course was fully SCORM/AICC compliant in order to be available across the BT network via their Academy Learning Management System.
The product was primarily based on emulation training and provided a fully interactive representation of the Windows-based Obtree system, faithfully recreating drop-down lists, scroll bars and text fields. This enabled the course content to be presented in styles suitable for visual, verbal or kinaesthetic learning preferences.
The BT project team was bespoking and field-testing the Obtree software when Pennant became involved, developing the training in parallel. The Pennant team quickly integrated into the development process, attending progress meetings in London, exchanging ideas, proposing solutions and, most importantly, maintaining a current grasp of product development. This process ensured that when the system changed, modification and amendment was implemented promptly and that the training product accurately mirrored the current release.
